Casual Swimming at Everybody Health & Leisure

With a wide range of public and casual swim sessions, there’s something for everybody. Whether it’s a relaxing swim for some ‘me time’ or a splash and a swim with the family it’s a great way to unwind and stay fit. Our swimming sessions include general and public swims, lane swimming, coach-led Masters swimming, plus fun and inflatable swim sessions.

Session ReferenceDescription
General SwimSession open to all. Both lanes available for avid swimmers and also space for free movement to cater for families and users who what a more leisurely swim.
Family SwimUnstructured sessions that are suitable for families attending with children. There will be no lanes for swimming lengths as the sessions are catered for leisure use.
Lane SwimSession targeted for fitness swimmers, single lanes of a variety of speeds for all abilities (Age 12+)
Master SwimCoach led swimming sessions for adults working on stroke technique and endurance, this session is included in a monthly fitness membership (Age 14+)
Toddler SplashToys available for a fun learner pool session for toddlers and their supporting adult.
Learner PoolLearner pool only available for open access.
Fun SessionRafts and balls available for children and families.
HirePre-booking is essential for hire of one-off sessions, please ask at reception.
ClubRegular hire agreement for clubs and groups.

Admission Policy Overview

  1. All children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by at least one adult on a 1:2 ratio in the water and changing area.
  2. Any children under the age of 4 must be accompanied by a parent on a 1:1 ratio, unless the child is wearing suitable flotation devices.
  3. Children aged 8 and above are to use their gender specific changing rooms where changing villages are not available.
  4. Children aged seven and under may use opposite gender changing rooms if being accompanied by parent or guardian.


Lending of Pool Equipment to Members of the Public Policy

  1. Due to the issues and complications that can arise because of lending equipment such as armbands, floats, bricks etc. The policy of the management is that the lending of any such items is strictly prohibited. The swimming aids are only to be used as part of activities organised through the pool, be that regular club use or through the Learn to Swim Scheme.
