The Volunteer Programme is the perfect place for you to make a difference in your community. Based in the heart of the community, Everybody Health and Leisure works with many partners to provide volunteer opportunities for local people.

CV Building, Gaining Experience! We upskill our volunteers through our training academy. Helping you build your CV & giving knowledge to help people provide an excellent customer service.
It’s Rewarding! Being part of an independent charitable trust helping people to live well and for longer can be as rewarding for you as it is for those you will be helping.
We have a range of volunteer opportunities available across Cheshire East to support the various programmes in and around our centres, our opportunities are for a range of ages and abilities and we accept applications from ages 14+.

Community Connector Good Boost Volunteer
We are looking for Volunteers that can actively encourage, motivate and support participants attending our Good Boost water rehabilitation exercise sessions.
As a Community Connector for the Good Boost programme your role is to meet and greet participants at sessions, ensuring everyone knows where they are going, and new members are made to feel welcome, overcoming any anxieties.
You will have the option to either assist on the poolside or in the water (please note you do not have to get in the water with this role), encouraging, motivating and supporting participants throughout the session.
If anyone is having trouble with their Good Boost tablet or has any questions you will be able to assist accordingly. You are not required to prescribe exercise, this is the role of the Good Boost tablet.

Community Connector Volunteer
Our Community Connector roles are vital in helping people to socialise within the local community, and encourage people to become more active.
We are looking for Volunteers that can actively encourage, motivate and support participants attending our various sport and activity sessions.
Our focus is on social and inclusivity, offering a welcoming smile with lots of laughter, as a connector you will be making the difference.

Volunteer Coaching Assistants
Support our seasonal holiday programmes, there is always an offer in the holidays with our Multi Activity Days, proving popular with the children.
If you have a passion for coaching, looking out for young people or just love sport then this might be the opportunity for you!
In addition, we have been commissioned by Cheshire East to run the Holiday and Food Fund (HAF) in Cheshire East. This normally runs in the Macclesfield and Crewe centres.

Learn to Swim Helper
Assist the next generation in learning to swim as a Learn to Swim Helper. You may be a young swimmer that is keen to learn how to be a swimming teacher, you may be a club swimmer, you may just want to see children aspiring to do their best, in all cases this could be a role for you.
Roles are available most evenings and weekends from around 4pm to 7pm on weekdays and Saturday and Sunday mornings. These times vary based on the facility programming. We aim to support these roles with a mentor and support of the aquatics lead every step of the way.
Volunteers may have the opportunity to be upskilled by attending our Everybody recruitment days, if successful you may be considered for the swimming teacher training. (Please note you must be 16 years of age as a minimum).

Volunteer Walks leaders
Getting out into the fresh air in heart of the community with our Ramblers Wellbeing Walks is a great way to meet new people, get to know an area and get your steps in.
The walks are an entry level walk, focused on giving people a platform to get back into walking and in the heart of our communities.
Volunteers will have the support of existing volunteers and participants with the opportunity to undertake walk leader training.

Taste for Life Volunteer
Volunteering in our cafes are a great introduction to the hospitality and catering industry. Supporting Taste for Life staff, you will be helping give the best possible experience for our customers whilst learning about the role.
