England International cricketer re-launches charities athlete workshops in Holmes Chapel
Everybody Health & Leisure welcomed Ellie Threlkeld, Manchester Original and Lancashire Thunder Captain to Holmes Chapel Community Centre, to deliver an interesting introduction to sports psychology workshop to members on the Everybody Talented Athlete Support Scheme.
On the 28th November, Everybody were delighted to relaunch their Talented Athlete Support Scheme workshops and have Ellie deliver the first one back. These workshops are delivered to support athletes, enhancing their membership and journey through these experienced talks.
The workshop was focussed on understanding the ‘who am I’ question about, Ellie Threlkeld, the athlete and how to create the best version of yourself to perform successfully.
England International cricketer, Ellie Threlkeld shared:
“The first sport psychology workshop seemed to be successful and it was brilliant to engage with athletes from different sports. It is also an opportunity for athletes to connect with each other and meet new people. The group had limited experience with sport psychology and hopefully this was a good introduction and there is now a better understanding of how it can help them to perform.”
Everybody recognise the importance of supporting local talented athletes enabling them to pursue sporting excellence. Members of their Talented Athlete Support Scheme can use local Everybody facilities and expertise to achieve their sporting goals.
Everybody are busy planning future workshops to be scheduled in for the new year, to support their athlete’s growth, experience and positive mindset.
