Join us on Sunday 15th August for our FREE open day! Come down with your family and friends, or take a solo trip and find something for everyone at Everybody! You can experience taster gym sessions, personal training sessions, group exercise classes, activities and entertainment for all the family. From bouncy castles to obstacle courses, face painter to activities on the skate park – we’ll keep the whole family entertained! Oh, and did we mention it’s all FREE?

Gym

Join us for a session in our state-of-the-art gym, which is fitted with everything you need to progress on your health and fitness journey.

All the essential cardio equipment including a range of inclusive kit so everyone can get active together. For muscle toning and strength, there is a great selection of machines and free weights to use.

It is fully equipped with a wide range of cardio, resistance, and functional equipment for everyone. Our qualified fitness teams will be on hand to offer a tour of the gym, introduce you to equipment, share workout tips and discuss what you want to achieve from your own fitness journey.

There’s no requirement to book a gym session, just arrive on the day and the Holmes Chapel Leisure Team will get you toured and introduced to the gym equipment as quickly as possible!

Personal Training

Need some energy and encouragement in your fitness sessions? Want to take your current fitness to the next level? Maybe you’ve already got your fitness goals and targets in your head but want some pro assistance to achieve them? Then come and try out a free, 30-minute personal training session at our Festival Of Fitness open day!

Use the contact form at the bottom of this page to book your PT session. They’re available on a first come, first serve basis so book early to avoid disappointment!

*Minimum age for PT sessions is 14 years old.

About Me:

I have been very passionate about health and fitness from a young age. Fitness has played a huge part in my life, helping me through challenging times and I want to be able to help you gain the same benefits and sense of self achievement I have. I am driven to help people to become the best version of themselves and achieve their goals. I am always willing to learn and fine tune my skills in order to provide you with a 1st class service.

Fitness Classes & Group Exercise

Not only can you use our gym, you can join us for FREE in our purpose built fitness studio for some of our famous group exercise classes including Les Mills, Yoga and so much more! All delivered by our brilliant fitness instructors who will make sure you get the most out of your workout.

Indoor Studio sessions

11.30am 12.15pm Les Mills BODY PUMP A light to midweight barbell workout with lots of repetition. A total body workout to get lean, toned and fit.
12.30pm 1.15pm Dance Fit An energetic fitness session involving a full body aerobic workout using dance moves.
1.30pm 2.15pm Yoga An intro level Yoga session to explore all the benefits this form of exercise can bring.

 

Outdoor sessions*

9.30am 10.00am Les Mills GRIT STRENGTH A HIIT-style workout using barbell, weight plate and body weight exercises to improve strength and build lean muscle.
10.15am 10.45am Les Mills GRIT ATHLETIC A HIIT-style workout using a step, body weight and sports-conditioning training to increase overall athletic prowess.

*Outdoor sessions are weather permitting. In the case of bad weather you will be contacted about your booking to discuss other options.

Fun For The Whole Family

We really have something for the whole family here at Holmes Chapel Community Centre, you can join us for fun family activities including obstacle courses, bouncy castles, spin the wheel, face painting and so much more! We’ll also have special guest appearances from our fantastic Fire team. And it wouldn’t be a Holmes Chapel open day event without a BBQ! Fingers-crossed for good weather, giving us a chance to get the barbie out…if not, our superb Taste For Life café will run a BBQ-themed menu to keep tummies full and smiles big!

Health

Are you looking to change your inactive lifestyle, or are you recovering from illness or dealing with a long-term health condition? Come along to our open day and talk to our superb Health Team who are offering free health checks. They’ll be on hand to talk through our Everybody Health Programmes as well as perform BMI, height and weight checks!

How to book your Free sessions

You need to book your place on the free Group Fitness and Family Group Fitness sessions (Family Yoga and Family Dance Fit). You will be able to book Group Exercise places from Monday 9th August.

To book your place, please follow these steps;

  1. Click the ‘Book Your Free Session/s’ button below to open the Online Booking Portal
  2. Select the option ‘Gym and Group Fitness’
  3. Select the location ‘Holmes Chapel CC’, select the class you’d like to attend (or choose ‘all classes’ to view all options) and select the date ‘Sun 15 Aug’
  4. Your search should show all available free sessions, these will be options listed with a cost of ‘£ Free’
  5. Add your chosen session/s to basket and complete your booking to secure your place

Please note: there are limited places per session. Free sessions are secured on a first come, first serve basis. If you are unable to attend a place you have booked, we kindly ask you to cancel your place in the online booking portal so others can take that place.
