We have some very exciting news to share with this updated video below, gym sessions have now increased from 45 minute bookable slots to 90 minute bookable slots at some of our sites*! We have also added more group fitness classes to our timetable and more!

*Gym sessions will remain at 45 minute bookable slots at Holmes Chapel Leisure Centre and Middlewich Leisure Centre, please arrive at the start time- More information on their web pages.



Guidance on your Indoor and Outdoor Swimming, Gym and Classes


Following on from our statement on the 10th September, check out our new way of booking for swimming online here and the benefits of the new way to book.

Indoor Swimming: 

From September our swimming pools and swimming lessons will reopen, check out our video which outlines the changes we have made to our facilities and what you can expect when you return for a swim or for our Learn To Swim Scheme. Guidelines for returning to our Squash courts safely

Please continue to follow current Government guidelines as these will always supersede any of our centre or England Squash guidelines. For further information please visit: englandsquash.com/covid-19 and gov.uk/coronavirus

Important update: Following a recent update on guidance from England Squash, court hire can’t be mixed and has to be from the same house hold or support bubble.

Available at Congleton Leisure Centre, Macclesfield Leisure Centre, Poynton Leisure Centre and Wilmslow Leisure Centre

  • 40 minute court time
  • Available mid week- 6am – 9pm last court
  • Weekend- 8am – 5:20pm last court (Our peak times are Monday to Friday 5.00pm to 10.00pm, any other time is off peak including weekends)
  • All squash bookings need to be booked and paid for online here 
  • Please check in for your booking at reception who will then let you know which court you will be using
  • The primary booker will need to book and pay online for both people attending and must be 14+ to book.
  • Non members will need an Everybody membership and an online bookings account to be able to book online.

5 Steps to remember when visiting us

1)Wash your hands before and after visiting our site. There will be sanitisers available at the entrance and exit of every site as well as throughout the centre.

2)Pre-book all of your activities online before arriving. Gym sessions and fitness classes will be available to book. Please do this to avoid disappointment.

3)Maintain social distancing and follow our one way systems. Use the queuing systems provided and follow the directional signage.

4)Do not visit our centres if you are feeling unwell, have been in close contact  with someone with a confirmed case of Covid-19, are shielding and have been advised against by your doctor, or you need to self isolate due to travelling or other reasons.

5)Help us stay clean by cleaning surfaces in our gyms and classes once you have used them and following our codes of etiquette.

Our Pledge To You

  • As a member and customer of Everybody Sport and Recreation we understand you may be feeling nervous about visiting our centres
  • We want to reassure you that Everybody has taken exceptional steps to ensure our facilities are ready to welcome you back
  • We have undergone deep cleans in all of our facilities and this will continue with dedicated closure for deep cleaning daily, weekends, plus daily end of day clean downs
  • We have made all of our sessions pre-bookable online and have limited occupancy in our classes and gym environment to maintain social distancing measures
  • We are operating as a cashless facility so please pre-book and pay for activities online before visiting. Payments onsite will be card-only and contactless where possible
  • Our changing and shower facilities will be closed so please come dressed and ready to take part in your activities
  • From Monday 17th August lockers will be available for customers to use. Following a successful and safe trial at Nantwich outdoor swimming pool we will be re-introducing the safe use of lockers. Select lockers will be available for use at each centre, please ask reception for directions to available lockers. Where possible please only bring items in to the facility which you need, where possible refrain from bringing large items and bags. Strict sanitisation regimes will be in place along with appropriate social distancing signage.
  • Where possible, we have moved group activities into our larger spaces such as sports hall and outdoors to maintain safe distances for our customers
  • We have organised one way systems around our centres and made sure everywhere is signposted and easy for our customers to follow

A step by step guide to Everybody online bookings system

 Digital Online Sign-ups – All membership sign-ups to be completed online.

  1. Online Booking Portal – All activities and sessions must be booked through the online bookings portal found at the top right of our homepage at everybody.org.uk labelled as “My Bookings”
  2. Who Can Book Online and Pricing If you have an online bookings account you can book activities for yourself and other members you are primary linked to. You are also able to book and pay for a non-member

  1. Digital Online Sign-ups

You can now register for an Everybody Membership online and sign up to our casual Wildcard

Sign Up Online by visiting the online membership portal at www.everybody.org.uk

If you require additional support or for no pay members to be added to your joint or family account then you should call the customer service team Monday – Friday between 9am-6pm and select option 2 on the automated menu.

  1. Online Booking Portal

Members – These include direct debit, annual pass, options, wild card and casual customers who already have a record on XN with a membership number (Skip to stage2)

Non Members – Have no active record or membership number with Everybody

To create an account that enables you to book gym, swim and classes online then all of our customers now need  to follow a two stage process.

  1. Sign up to an Everybody Membership – Using the online membership portal at everybody.org.uk a variety of options from Wildcard for casual use to direct debits and annual passes can be selected, purchased and set up. *Once an application is successfully completed you will receive a confirmation email which includes a unique membership number which will be required when registering for online bookings so please keep this is a safe place!*
  2. Create an Online Bookings Account – Using the online bookings portal at https://portal.everybody.org.uk/bookings/Account/Register and a membership number for security verification, all records used to create the membership account MUST match every field completed when registering for an online bookings account. Any mis-match or failure to complete these fields will result in you receiving an error message and failure to create an online bookings account.

If you do not know your membership number it will be on your sign up email or any recent email communication from Everybody. If you are having problems registering with an account you can create a support ticket at www.everybody.org.uk/contact  where an agent will help to create an account and guide you through the booking process.

Please be aware that you will need to confirm your security details such as name, address, postcode and DOB for your membership number to be provided.

  1. Who Can Book Online and Pricing

Primary Paying Members – Also have the ability to book for any other members who are primary linked to their account, this includes children or other family members and friends that could be linked through a family or joint membership.

As well as this they also have the ability to book a session for a none member, all details of the none member must be provided before the booking is complete.

Linked Members with an Online Booking Account – Also have the ability to book an activity or session for none members but can’t book on behalf of other members who are primary linked to them.

The online booking system will recognise the relevant charge for membership category applied to any account and charge accordingly.  Therefore, free for full members, discounted rate for options will be applied.

If a non-member’s details are added and a booking is completed, then only one default price can be applied which will be the full standard priced rate.

Where a customer requires discounted rate they must complete the relevant membership application, then create an online bookings account to make their own bookings or be linked to a primary payer with an online bookings account who can make bookings on their behalf.

  1. Step by Step Guide to Booking a Class or Activity
  • Log in
  • Select ‘Activity’ or ‘Class’ in the ‘I want to book’ section (Gym and PT session are included within classes)
  • Select Site
  • Select Specific Activity or Class
  • Select Date
  • Select From (time range)
  • Then click search
  • Available sessions and activities will appear displaying all the details including cost
  • Click on the add to basket icon then ok
  • This takes you to the shopping basket where the full details of the booking are displayed
  • At this stage clicking on the displayed name gives the ability to also book in behalf of any primary linked members or none members
  • Check the box to accept the terms and conditions the click on the Checkout button
  • To complete either proceed to ‘Online Card Payment’ where card details need to be entered to complete the booking
  • or when booking a zero priced activity click on the make booking link at the bottom of the screen
  • The Transaction Successful screen will be displayed
  • Followed by the Order confirmation page, this includes a payment reference and printable receipt
  • A confirmation email will also be sent to the email address of the primary member
