With the 2022 Everybody Awards approaching and nominations closing on the 15th August, we’re looking back at last year’s winner’s including Poppy Maskill who won, Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year, 2021.

We’re looking for our Disabled Sports Achiever winner for the 2022 Everybody Awards, do you know someone who has made remarkable achievements within a sport or activity over the last 12 months? If yes, we want to hear about them!

We are accepting nominations for achievements made in the last 12 months (1st September 2021- 14th August 2022)

2021 winner…

Disabled Sports Achiever – Winner: Poppy Maskill

Poppy takes part in competitive swimming with Alsager Swimming Club. Representing her club at county, regional and national competitions. Before lockdown Poppy competed in her first World Para Series event. Before classification she raced as an able bodies athlete at county, regional and national level. Poppy competes in all events from 50m sprints to 5000m open water races.
