Taste for Life Cafés to Reopen this Autumn

Everybody Sport and Recreation recently announced its plans to reopen swimming pools across Cheshire East in September. This will mean the return of swimming lessons for children and parents will be pleased to know that the much loved Taste for Life Cafes will be reopening soon!

The first to reopen will be Taste for Life @ Wilmslow Leisure Centre on 7th September. The café will be serving a selection of hot and cold drinks and snack items. The café will be operating on reduced opening hours during swimming lesson times for the moment. All customers must adhere to the social distancing and hygiene rules and will be asked to provide their contact details when entering the cafés for the NHS track and trace.

Macclesfield Leisure Centre is due to reopen on 21st September followed by Crewe Lifestyle Centre and Holmes Chapel Community Centre in October.

Catering and Hospitality Senior Manager Richard Jobson commented ‘we are looking forward to welcoming back our customers to the Taste for Life Cafes and also welcoming back our café staff who have been on furlough leave.’

Richard added, ‘We have been busy preparing for our phased reopening to make sure we meet customer needs but can also operate safely within the leisure centre environments and of course to government guidelines.’
